From a product list to usable labels
01
Check the product data
Use your assigned UPC or EAN numbers, or choose Code 128 for internal IDs. Import a table, review leading zeros and set the number of copies for each row.
02
Match your label stock
Measure the label dimensions, margins and gaps. Review each page in the preview. Skip already used positions when printing on a partly used sheet.
03
Test one printed sample
Print at actual size with headers and footers off. Compare the scanned value with your product list before printing more. Keep the JSON manifest with your source data.
Barcode label questions
Which barcode formats can I use?
Choose UPC-A, EAN-13 or Code 128 for each row. UPC-A accepts 11 digits to add a check digit or 12 digits to verify it. EAN-13 accepts 12 or 13 digits. Code 128 accepts up to 40 printable ASCII characters. Product names can use other languages, subject to available label space.
How do CSV and spreadsheet imports work?
Upload a UTF-8 CSV or TSV file, paste a spreadsheet table, or enter one barcode per line. Optional columns are value, name, sku, price, quantity and format. You can edit or remove imported rows before generating. Keep barcode columns as text in your spreadsheet: zeros lost before import cannot be recovered. Each batch supports 100 rows and 500 printed copies, with files up to 256 KB.
What is included in the ZIP?
Each input row becomes one SVG or PNG label image with your selected product name, SKU and price. The ZIP also includes a CSV manifest, a JSON manifest that preserves barcode numbers as strings, and printing notes. Quantities are used in the print layout; the ZIP does not duplicate identical label images.
Can I print A4, Letter or thermal labels?
Yes. Choose the paper and adjust label width, height, sheet margins and gaps to match your stock. A4 and Letter layouts can skip used positions on the first sheet. Thermal mode uses one label per page at your chosen dimensions. Use Print all / Save PDF and match the paper settings in your printer dialog. These editable layouts are not branded stock templates.
Why does a label fail its fit check?
The tool preserves barcode proportions, readable numbers and white margins. A label fails when its barcode or product text does not fit at the selected size. Increase the label dimensions, shorten the text, hide a field or select another barcode size. No rows are silently skipped, and the tool will not shrink a barcode just to fit it.
Are these GS1 numbers or certified retail labels?
No. Use identifiers assigned to your products and check your retailer’s requirements. This tool checks data and digitally decodes each rendered label image, but does not issue GS1 identifiers or certify printed barcode quality. Print and scan a physical sample with the intended printer and scanner before making a batch.
Where is my product data saved?
Your table and barcode files are processed in this browser tab. They are not uploaded, saved to an account or shared with a team. Download your files before closing or refreshing the tab. Optional analytics record tool actions, not your barcode values, product names, SKU or prices.
